How Cars Changed our World | Hurumanu 3

Hey guys, today for the last period our teacher told us to post our work we did last period. This work is based on an article we read last period called "How Cars Changed our World". Here is my work:

How Cars changed our World:                                      Week 5

  1. The introduction Information:

How Cars Populated             Bronwen Wall / Article

This article is all about the motor cars and cars. The article explains about the history of the motor car, how it is very noisy and can get very smelly. It also gave a bonus part when the first traffic ticket was given in New Zealand. There was a part where they explained how life was before the motor cars came. It also explains how cars evolved through the past years. It talked about the modern cars we drive on now. The minus with motor cars is they are very noisy and very smelly, they scare off animals like horses. The pluses are it is easier to travel with. It can also travel far.

  1. Replace the words but keep the meaning:

Original: Cars made it even easier to move around and keep in contact, but they were very expensive. Only wealthy people can afford one.

Mine: Vehicles made it even simple to travel around and keep in touch, yet they were extremely pricey. Only wealthy people can afford one.

  1. Would you buy one?:

I would not like to own a steam powered car but would like to borrow one for a day because they are extremely loud and smelly and also slow. Also it pollutes the air. I don’t want angry neighbours complaining about it. I would like to borrow one because I would like to experience it.

Please give me feedback :)

Unfortunately your writing is going off the page in this blogpost so you need to fix this up. Also, the title 'How cars populated' isn't appropriate. The story was about how cars changed the world, so you need to come up with a similar title to this. Mrs Hastie
