Hurumanu 3

Hi, in Te Ao Whanui, Hurumanu 3, we're studying inventions. So in this blog I will introduce things we have done in Hurumanu 3 and what Hurumanu 3 is all about! What is an invention? An invention is an object that has been made by someone and we are trying to adapt this. Here are some top 10 inventions, the first one is the Light Bulb, Air plane, Printing Press, Personal Computer, Clock, Automobile, Vaccines, Telephone, Refrigeration, and a Camera. We have mainly focused about clocks so here are the main 3 types of clock. Atomic, electric and mechanical clocks. The main two ways we can read time, we can read by analog or by digital. Next we have studied things about the wheel. Here are some interesting facts I have found or me and my classmates have found. Did you know the first wheel was used for pottery. The first wheelbarrow was in China! Turnspit dog used to cook meat! First roller skates was made in Belgium. the first motor car or motor bike was made in Germany. My DLO is about the invention of the wheel. To end it off I hope you have at least know things we are doing in Hurumanu 3. I hope you can understand. VR, Future TV, Robotics Among 'Best Inventions Of 2019' 11/21/2019Bontrager Aeolus Pro 37 TLR Disc Road Wheel | Trek Bikes

  1. An excellent summary of your research into inventions Eunize. I like the way you've combined key facts into a well-constructed paragraph. The image you've included supports your text beautifully. You're well on the way to becoming a Blogger of interest because of the way you present your work and consider your 'audience' (e.g. 'I hope you can understand.')

That's a really interesting blog post. It shows a breadth of research. I have another invention that I'd love you to consider: the horse harness that allowed a horse to be hitched up to a plough. Take a look, and see if you can tell me why it was so important.

2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
