Hey guys I will be sharing things from science.
Aim: To use water to extract the dye from skittles using the process of chromatography.
Materials: 5 skittles, water, petri dish, beaker.
Process:
1. Place the skittles into the petri dish around the edges.
2. Pour 100ml water gently into the middle of the petri dish.
3. record and take photos while watching the colours spread.
4. Post in blog ad put stuff away.
The Fastest Skittle Explain the findings green was really slow, yellow and orange was not that slow, purple kinda made it, and red was super fast. Why do they bleed out out on the same rate? Because they have sugar. Why do the colours no mix together? They havent been stirred around and also because the water is still. |
