Wonder

This week we watched a movie about Bullying and how it hurt a boy called Auggie.

He had a big sister called via or olivia

He was picked on because of his extraordinary face.

When he was wearing a mask on Halloween he heard his friend say that if he had the same face as Auggie he would kill himself

This made Auggie feel sad.

Here’s a quote from Auggie: I feel ordinary. Inside. But I know ordinary kids don’t make other ordinary kids run away screaming in playgrounds.

The theme of the story is about bullying, kindness, courage, family, diversity, friendship, identity, acceptance and more.

Hope you like my images too.

  1. A very good overview of the content. Remember to use quotation marks when copying a quote e.g. Here’s a quote from Auggie: "I feel ordinary. Inside. But I know ordinary kids don’t make other ordinary kids run away screaming in playgrounds." Lovely pic of Auggie and the signpost for ACCEPTANCE.
