My game, Flaps

Hey there, today I will be sharing the game I made using code.org. I named my game "Flaps"

This game is basically flappy bird but I made the game a bit different. I changed the background so each time you do another round the background changes. I also changed the speed. The speed is faster. The obstacles change into lasers when you hit it.

Here are the rules for my game:
1. Don't hit the obstacles
2. Don't fall to the ground
3. Don't go too high in the sky.

This how you play:
1. You press the start button
2. You start clicking on your screen
3. You have to pass all the obstacles to get a high score.

By the way, I think the best score to get is 25 or if your good at it then maybe 50.

Thats the qr code for the game.
Please give it a try

Wonder

This week we watched a movie about Bullying and how it hurt a boy called Auggie.

He had a big sister called via or olivia

He was picked on because of his extraordinary face.

When he was wearing a mask on Halloween he heard his friend say that if he had the same face as Auggie he would kill himself

This made Auggie feel sad.

Here’s a quote from Auggie: I feel ordinary. Inside. But I know ordinary kids don’t make other ordinary kids run away screaming in playgrounds.

The theme of the story is about bullying, kindness, courage, family, diversity, friendship, identity, acceptance and more.

Hope you like my images too.

Floods

Hello readers, today I will be talking about the floods that happened on 29 May that went over more than a day. This event happened in Christchurch and a lot of it happened in Ashburton River, which flooded.

In Ashburton, the river was rising a lot and the army was sent in case residents had to evacute. Most of the towns residents would have to be evacuted if the river breached the stopbanks.

Most of the people thought it was fine because they were dry and had roofs but other people didn't like it  since a lot of people's houses started leaking from the top.

For now the whole crisis is slowly getting better.

Here's an image to illustrate my work:
