Business & Enterprise 2021

Greetings in todays blog I will be talking about the Business & Enteprise Kete we had in term 4.

I think Business and Enterprise is a group project for us students. Its a project for you to have your own business with other people. You will be in a group of four, you and your group will create your own business and create real products you are able to sell. In your group of four you will have roles for your business. You can be a CEO, Product Manager, Marketing Manager or Sales/Finance Manager.

We had weeks for this kete and through out those weeks I think I've learnt that a CEO has alot of responsibilities. For me I think people will most likely rely on the CEO most of the times. I've also noticed buying the supplies for your products wasn't so easy since we had a budget. Getting your jobs done in time was a lot of chaos too.

I was in a group of three and my teammates didn't want to find another person and that was a really big decision for us to make since it would be a lot more harder with only three people in your group and no one could fill in the last role. Our product choice was also an important decision because this is something you don't want to waste money on and this will be the product we will be selling on the final day. We had to make sure some people are actually going to buy our products. The product we were going to sell were inspirational posters and kpop posters.

My group was succesful with the products but on the market day I don't think we were so succesful. We had 16 products in total and not all of it were sold. I'm not even sure if we were able to sell at least half of it. Not much people came to us and were interested.

I think I believe out of the CARR values I was mostly showing respect by checking out other groups, not judging them, buying some products from others, not using the tokens that was in our money bag for our group and respecting peoples opinion about our products. I think I didn't show commitment, achievement and resilience because we weren't able to sell all our products and we gave up when we had plenty of more time to be sold out.
