Tasting

Hello, today we are tasting some food while being blindfolded.

Aim: To taste food that are sweet, salty, sour or bitter

Method: 

1.Get safety glasses and make a blindfold

2. Set up your chart and make sure that the person you are working with knows where to record your responses. 

3. using an ice cream stick you will dip it into the sample. Once the samoke is on the stick you will taste it and tell your partner your response

4. There will be 2 answers     

5. At taste test once you need to hold your nose

Answer 1: is it sweet, sour, salty or bitter

The Bunsen Burner

Method:

1. Took out the bunsen burner.

2. Set the bunsen burner out along with the heat mat.

3. Took out the tripod and placed in on top of the bunsen burner.

4. Placed the gauze mat on top of the tripod.

5. Got safety glasses .

Equipment:

1. Bunsen Burner

2. Safety Glassses

3. Heat mat

 4. Tripod

5. Gauze mat

1. The hottest part of the flame is the inner.

2. The order of lighting a bunsen burner is lighting the match first then turn of the tap.

Questions:

Where is the broken glass put? The broken glass bin.

How do you stop all class gas tap? You press the gas button.

Where is the fire extinguisher? Near the emergency exit door.

When should you wear safety glasses? When your playing with fire.

Our Filpbook

Hey GUYSS, for the last few weeks we have been working on with our projects in art with Ms Keen. Today I will be sharing what we did for our project.

We were supposed to do a stop motion film with clay but me and my buddy Artee decided to make a flipbook.

Ms Keen gave us some paper notes to draw in and use as a filpbook. We drew our characters first in a different paper then drew our first scenes in the proper flipbook. We took turn drawing but Artee drew more than me.

Our flipbook was about an alien eating a hamburger that was fallling from the sky. Then he turned into the burger, a rocket ship came falling down from the sky and crashed the burger.

Geometry & Reading

Hey there, today I will be sharing what we do in Hurumanu 3. Hurumanu 3 is maths and also a reading period, but on Thursday its' our blogging day.

On Mondays we usually finish off our maths worksheets and do more maths worksheets. Our maths is about geometry. It usually takes us a whole period to finish off one worksheet.

On Tuesdays, we also do our maths worksheets again. If we have finished then we can do some stuff on our chromebook or do more worksheets. We have two periods of Hurumanu 3. On the first period we do maths, but on the second we do some reading worksheets or do some work that is connected to hurumanu 2.

On Thurdays, it's hurumanu 1, but we blog about stuff on this day. Usually about news or something we learned about in the past week.
